This emergency radio operates on four power sources. The hand crank generator charges the internal NI-MH Batteries. Solar power allows you to charge your radio in direct sunlight. Twelve hours in the sun yields 6-8 hours of play.
KA888 will run on 3 AA batteries (not included). With the included adapter, 6 hours of charging equals 48 hours of play.
