Reecom R1630 NOAA All Hazards and Weather Alert Radio with SAME offers a Public Alert Certified Weather Radio with a proprietary SAME digital decoder technology that will provide notification warnings about approaching weather conditions such as tornadoes, hurricanes and floods and is programmable to specific county or counties. This public alert radio also provides you with information about civil problems such as Amber alerts, nuclear accidents and even terrorist attacks.
The R1630 digital weather alert radio features 180 hours of battery back-up operation in standby mode when there is an AC power failure (batteries not included). This unique feature is very important to all emergency alert radio owners during emergency periods! It picks up all 7 NOAA weather channels with PLL tuning, using SAME (Specific Area Message Encoding) it can monitor up to 26 counties concurrently, has a selectable defeat siren function (48 events can be set to defeat siren if they are not of your interest) and is a NOAA all hazards public alert CEA-2009-A certified receiver. Comes with a one year manufacturer's warranty.
